Ai Jiang Tu

Ai Jiang Tu (艾江图) is member of the military, noble Ai family and was the Captain of the Chinese National team during the World College Tournament during Mo Fan's entree generation. After the World College Tournament, he graduated the military academy and became a movable-storage soldier completing missions within China or a guest lecturer at the Imperial College.

With his display in the World College Tournament, Ai Jiang Tu is recognized as a domineering Space Element Mage. By the next World College Tournament, Ai Jiang Tu is a Three Systems Super-Tier (三系超阶) Mage. Due to the rarity and deep usefulness of the Space Element within China, Ai Jiang Tu is not nationally publicized before and after the World College Tournament.

Ai Jiang Tu was used to the military, so he preferred to join a group of mercenaries instead of a Hunter Group.

Ai Jang Tu is the captain of the Chinese national team and older brother to Mo Fan's roommate Ai Tu Tu.

He is a member of a prominent weathy, military family, the Ai Family that regularly sends out parties to hunt down monsters north of the Great Wall to solely to drive down their numbers. He’s a reputable maniac; he went to the military academy, killed lots of demon beasts, and was still a lot stronger than students who spent lots of time cultivating. He is from the military academy and had regularly roamed between the boundaries of life and death, thus he was very experienced with fighting. His ability to command and discipline outmatched the rest of the students, not to mention he was stronger than other people at the same age with his versatile Space Element.

His military upbringing brought him great amount of experience, resources, training, maturity, dedication to his cultivation and strictness. Which he uses to full effect when leading the Chinese national team. He is also a secret battle maniac.[5]

Ai Jiang Tu was a Magician, thus he did not really spend much time (10+ hours) learning how to fly a helicopter.[6]

Appearance[]

A tall and muscular tanned man with a dignified, intimidating and expressionless face, but usually described as a cold, tanned face. He has a well-proportioned physique.[7] He also has standard military grooming and a deep voice in his twenties.[6] He habitually wears general military wear and an open, dark blue, fur-lined leather trench coat (深蓝色皮披衣[8], 皮风衣[9]). At Tian Shan, he worn a brown woven linen shawl and an animal fur scarf, making Ai Jiang Tu appear more heroic.

Manhua[]

This Ai Jiang Tu is over 6 ft with long, swept back, silver-gray-peach hair (same as Ai Tu Tu) and has thick black eyebrows and tanned skin. His face is reminiscent of a manly Middle-East male while he wears black military boots with Type-07 Universal pants, a white shirt and a jacket. He wears a dark-green military tactical (utility) belt with pouches at his waist. Overall, his Manhua appearance disregards his position as a soldier and its required grooming and attire.

Personality[]

Through his deep military upbringing, he has determined, cold and strong-willed eyes that convey his experience at a young age, but also has an outspoken style. He face usually does not smile. He respects and is strict with discipline. He possesses the temperment of a true battle mage. He is kind and doting to his younger sister Ai Tu tu, but not above teaching her a lesson when necessary. He dotes to the level Ai Tu Tu never having a boyfriend. He also likes alcohol to the point of drinking a few bowls before talking at a bar.

Despite his military upbringing, he bares a strange similarity to Mo Fan. They are both students of Zhan Kong, they both nearly killed those who offended their sisters and have no issues declaring war with anyone who tries to interfere, they have no issue condemning people to their deaths should the offense warrant it, they have similar levels of ego, rage and they both dive in head first into dangerous situations without really knowing whats going on. They also have a desire to fight the strong to self-improve.

Ai Jiang Tu is a formal respective member of the rules concerning magic, however, he morally values life and his companions over orders and statuses. He does not look at strength only, but also one’s courage and character.

He has a tendency to be stubborn when trying to complete missions. He is also dense when it comes to women.[10] He possesses a strong sense of justice and moral compass as a soldier. He also adventurous like Mo Fan, willing to attempt the famous Tianshan route as a Super-Tier mage.

Ai Jiang Tu was from the Chinese army. Ai Jiang Tu would never forgive the Black Vatican. As a soldier, Ai Jiang Tu had sworn to uproot the Black Vatican ever since the Calamity of the Ancient Capital! The students of a military academy were clearly different than the students from ordinary schools. Students with a military background were neither undisciplined nor had the pride of a young adult, as if their bones would always emit a stern aura, regardless of what they were facing! In their eyes, a competition was not just a stage, it was no different than a battlefield!

He is a fearless, reckless and daring soldier with the will to protect innocents.

Visiting the Provisional Candidate[]

Ai Jiang Tu had 4 votes to become a provisional candidate and captain of the China Team for the 4 year periodic year-long World College Tournament. He represented the country's military academy. He appeared one day around September to observe Mo Fan and coincidentally saw Ai Tu Tu being bullied (due to her sudden request to have the Ai family buy her an expensive Magic Attack Equipment). He compensated the attacker Gu Jian with his military father's vote, but still beat Gu Jian up to near death for bullying his sister (due to Tournament selection rules, he was forced to not kill Gu Jian). He also slapped away the present 3 referees. After the incident, Ai Jiang Tu accompanied his sister around the city after unintentionally revealing his Captain position and Mo Fan's yet-to-be announced candidacy. After some time, Ai Tu Tu dragged her brother away to enjoy some time together in Shanghai. Ai Jiang Tu had come to visit his sister despite his busy schedule, hence the others had no intention of disturbing them. Within five days later, Ai Jiang Tu had gone back to the army. He later received a note from Ai Tu Tu of Mo Fan's sudden disappearance.

World College Tournament Saga[]

On the Mid-Autumn Festival, Ai Jiang Tu with the other 9 chosen national team representatives (Nanyu, Jiang Yu, Jiang Shao Xu, Guan Yu, Zu Ji Ming, Mu Ting Ying, Nanrong Ni, Li Kai Feng, Zhou Xu) attend the private ceremony held at the Imperial College, led by Advisor Dean Song He. Then, the 10 teammates witness Mu Ning Xue's usage of her absolute Ice strength to show them her determination to participate in the World College Tournament, even as a substitute member (Zhao Man Yan, Mo Fan).

When Spring arrived, the selections for the national team of each country would come to an end. The national teams would then be sent to different countries for training, and between Spring and Summer the year after, they would be competing in the World College Tournament that would be held in the City of Canals, Venice

In the Spring, Ai Jiang Tu met Mo Fan again after 5 months during the national team's gathering in Shanghai. They would be going on a long training trip as a team. The training (missions) was said to last more than a year then the finals. There was no grand ceremony to send off the team on their trip. The truth was, no one knew when the team was departing for the training, nor would they know the list of students who were on the team. The candidates would only show themselves in public during the opening ceremony of the World College Tournament at Venice. Members of the team had long had conflicts with one another. It was not the first time the team had split up. Whenever the members were free to make their own decisions, the team usually split up into two. As the captain, Ai Jiang Tu was obliged to look after the others. He would normally stay with Guan Yu and the others. Ai Jiang Tu was the pillar of the team, and Mo Fan was the ace. The team normally conversed in English just so they could become better at the language.

The resources distributed by the advisors are obviously not enough for the teammates, so apart from challenging the Training Halls, the team has been busy searching for treasure. Despite the backgrounds that everyone was from, no team member would complain about having too many resources. The secondary objective of their world-wide adventure was to search for valuable treasures, therefore, exploration was vital. Even Soul grade Seed was something that even those with formidable backgrounds had trouble getting their hands on. The Seed might even have a Domain, something that High-Tier mages desire.

The national team did allow its members to be away, but they would not be getting the resources that were supposedly allocated to them. The resources allocated to them over fifteen days were only worth a Spirit grade Seed. The members' individual use with their alocated resource is voluntary: use or sell for money.

Everyone on the team wanted to improve, thus they needed all kinds of resources to remain competent on the team. Most importantly, they wanted to shine brightly when they reached Venice, so the world would notice them and the factions behind them.

The strongest representative on the national team was none other than Ai Jiang Tu. He had long improved two of his Elements to High-Tier. He was incredibly adept at using the High-Tier Spells of the Space Element and the Curse Element. He could even take on a real Commander-Tier creature by himself.

Starting Village - Fei Niao City[]

The team started in the seaside Chinese city Fei Niao City (飞鸟市) in Zhejiang Province with their bank accounts frozen and no Chinese ID. Ai Jiang Tu learned alongside other team members Mo Fan's successful entry into the High-Tier mage realm. Captain Ai single-handedly fought against a Commander-Tier monster and successfully made it flee, earning Mo Fan's respect and recognition as the strongest mage of the national team. He also discerned Mo Fan's true (non-Demon, non-Space) combat potential. With help saving the Fei Niao City's Lin Group's child from the Commander-Tier sea monster, Ai Jiang Tu and the team headed on a Lin Group speed boat (ship) across the Pacific Ocean and nautically enter Japan as illegal immigrants. Since the ship was already registered and even had its name written in Japanese, it successfully entered Japan’s maritime space.

First stopped in sea city West Bear City (Xi Xiong City) in Kumamoto Prefecture. Then after the demonic cursed spirit incident at the Buddhist Temple, Ai Jiang Tu and the team head to Osaka by train with tickets paid by the Buddhist monks.

The girls in the team were all foodies so they completely forgot they had come to Osaka solely to challenge the institute, and quickly disappeared into the train station. They did not want any of the boys following them, saying that it would disrupt the romantic atmosphere. The girls had arrived around dinner time. They made it just in time, and were still carrying the stuff that they had bought in Osaka. He chose Jiang Shao Xu, Guan Yu, and Mo Fan to fight Japan's national trainig hall team in Osaka. They later headed to Tokyo.

Ai Jiang Tu's and their IDs were still frozen, and since they could only buy train tickets with valid identities, they ended up taking the railway to the outskirts of Osaka in the east before taking a bus to Tokyo, Kantō Prefecture. The team's first training trial mission began at the East Maritime Fortress with confronting Commander-Tier sea monsters to their assigned manual labor Zone 20 as the seventh team. Ai Jiang Tu assigned the Sound Mage Nanyu to command. The East Maritime Fortress went through a few tide rises after the first, yet none were close to the first one in terms of the scale. The firepower of the team improved significantly after many team members became High-Tier mages, allowing the team to easily rank up to 4-Star at the Fortress. Afterwards, it was the day they would receive their resources and the day Mu NIng Xue and Mo Fan left the team. By then, the team acknowledged Ai Jiang Tu as one whose strength completely outmatched everyone else. It has been half a year (mid-Spring) since the Ancient Captial Xi'an Undead Catastrophe.

The Buddhist Temple incident influenced Ai Jiang Tu deepen his understanding of the Curse Element.

A month after Mo Fan left, the Chinese national team completed their third challenge and was departing for their next destination, Peru. By then, teammate Zhou Xu had already been disqualified from the main 10.

Peru[]

Before Mo Fan's arrival in the south of Peru, Ai Jiang Tu and the teammates visited the Nasca Lines when they arrived in Peru aound a month ago and later attacked by the Nasca Birds. For the first time, Ai Jiang Tu learned about Mo Fan possessing the Space Element. When visiting the nearby desert valley for experience and exploration, Ai Jiang Tu became angered by Lu Yi Lin's endangerment of the team and agreed to Mo Fan tossing the spoiled coward away. Ai Jiang Tu managed the waiting group while Nanyu supervised the moving group, splitting the team temporarily in the storm in the desert valley. Ai Jiangtu sent Li Kai Feng, Mu Ting Ying, and Guan Yu to represent the team. An extra six-vs-six team fight was added for experience between the two countries, but interrupted by the General Mott. Later, Ai Jiang Tu and the team did not take the badge of Peru to mark their win against the Peru Training Hall to protest against the General.

Ai Jiang Tu managed to induce the General Mott into a bet, half the stakes of Ariel Mines will belong to China, and won with Mo Fan's help. He became closer to Mo Fan as a result of winning the bet. Ai Jiangtu, who rarely smiled, was wearing a mysterious grin. He even told Mo Fan he would prepare him a huge gift. As apologies from the Peruvian Government, Ai Jiang Tu and his team were allowed to take some of the cultivation resources reserved for the Peruvian National Team.

Everyone on the current team basically had at least one High-Tier Element. A few on the team did have two High-Tier Elements, and few among them were able to cast High-Tier Spells, yet they still needed time to get familiar with the process. Only Mo Fan and Ai Jiang Tu were the odd ones.

Caribbean Sea[]

The team’s next destination was Mexico. Without any surprise, the advisors had frozen all their valid identities. They had no choice but to journey through Columbia, Panama, Costa Rica, and the other countries along the coastline on the Caribbean and Pacific, on foot… Eventually, the team stopped at a seaside White Head City. During the travel, Ai Jiang Tu taught Mo Fan the basics of Novice and Mid-Tier Space Element magic from the perspective of a High-Tier Space mage.

Ai Jiang Tu assisted to take down the Red Ornaments Guild terrorizing the Caribbean Sea at White Head Harbor by imobilizing the government's soldiers. He acted when Mo Fan killed the army captain, so it was necessary to consider the overall situation. Ai Jiangtu was trying his best to send Mo Fan to the Red Ornaments Guild, to prevent him from clashing too much with the government army. In the final report, the Chinese team stood out among the three national teams. The Dark Lord Cloak was allocated to Mo Fan, while the others were given some other rewards. The Cloak arrived when Ai Jiang Tu reached Mexico.

Liberty's New York[]

In the Winter, in a southwest cowboy town in Mexico, Mu Ning Xue joined the national team. By then, there were two that the team members were unwilling to stumble into as their opponent in the intermate Duels: the first one was Ai Jiang Tu, and the other one was Mo Fan.[11] Ai Jiang Tu and the team narrowly defeated the Mexico Training Hall.[12] After Mexico, their next destination was the United States of America. Ther USA Training Hall was on Liberty Island near New York.

To fight in a group duel against ther American Training Hall team, the members discussed it and finally decided on a final formation consisting of Ai Jiang Tu, Mo Fan, Jiang Yu, Mu Ting Ying, and Nanrong Ni. Ai Jiang Tu also witnessed the rampage of the adolescent (Commander-Tier) fireball. Ai Jiangtu was even quicker at casting High-Tier Lv. 1 spells now.

Since Mo Fan and Ai JIang Tu were determined to take out the Black Vatican's Executioner Philip here in New York, they could not afford to let him run away. Ai Jiang Tu had been watching in the dark since the start, waiting to strike at the perfect time to take Philip down! Ai Jiang Tu reported only Mo Fan at the end, the Black Vatican managed to complete its true goal: thief of the Mirror from the Liberty's warehouse vault. He also jokes to Mo Fan becoming stronger to invite a Red Cardinal for a fight.

Afterwards, during the travel, Ai Jiang Tu taught Mo Fan the more of Novice, Mid and High-Tier Space Element magic from the perspective of a High-Tier Space mage.

Portugal[]

In the early Spring, Ai Jiang Tu participated in the challenge (unseen) of the Portugal Training Hall with the team while and Mo Fan and several other teammates participated in a mystery investigation. After the challenge, the training Ai Jiang Tu receives word from Zhao Man Yan that Mo Fan and Mu NingXue were temporarily leaving the team for at least half a month to solve the Drowning Curse incident.

Egypt[]

After leaving Portugal by plane, Ai Jiang Tu and the team were supposed to depart for Egypt and experience the Arabic culture. To their surprise, when they were setting out for Egypt along the edge of the Sahara Desert by following the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea, they were given an emergency job to find some missing people near the Sahara Desert. Ai Jiang Tu lead those who declined the mission so they will not receive any resources allocated to the national team, instead, this split group (Zu Jiming, Mu Ting Ying, Nanrong Ni, Li Kaifeng and Guan Yu) was led by Ai Jiang Tu to find other ways of earning resources. The split groups regrouped in Egypt and by then, Ai Jiang Tu's group completed the Egypt Training Hall challenge.

Ai Jiang Tu lead the national team to complete the task of assisting the Egyptian Military in a sudden mirage pyramid outbreak. The advisors were not really clear about the scope of their job, but based on the description, it was similar to their job in Japan’s East Maritime Fortress. The team was required to spend some time in the ancient Egyptian city. The advisors wanted the students to encounter as many kinds of creatures as possible, so they would learn how to react accordingly when fighting against different creatures. Ai Jiang Tu’s powerful Space and Curse Elements were incredibly effective against the Poisonous Golden Mummies.

The next day, the team continued their mission. In addition to Mo Fan, the other person entrusted with the mission of reaching the pyramid was Ai Jiang Tu. With his Space Element, he also had the highest chance of making his way to the pyramid. Both Mo Fan and Ai Jiang Tu would take different paths, with Mu Ningxue and the rest of the team providing them cover. Their job was to help Mo Fan and Ai Jiang Tu sneak up to the pyramid when the main army was fighting the undead.

When Mo Fan later initiated a Dark Contract Duel and fought in the Dark Swordmaster's Dark Duel Ground's triangular prism, Ai Jiang Tu immediately tried to attack the walls of the prism, but it felt like the walls were able to absorb the energy of the spells aimed at it. It felt like the walls had grown even sturdier. Ai Jiangtu remained silent. He glanced at the pyramid. Ai Jiangtu did not stay any longer, he picked a different direction and started approaching the pyramid. Ai Jiang Tu with the team witness a High-Tier mage successfully defeat a Low Monarch-class creature.

It has already been a year since the national team left China.

Grand Gathering - Venice[]

The matches in Venice were all team battles, with the standard 5-versus-5 format. It has been 1 year since Mo Fan rejoined the national team. Each organized match is held every 2 days. The national team was planning to stay in Venice until the opening ceremony of the World College Tournament so they arrived there before Summer. The others were also training hard in Venice, and since there were quite a few auctions going on in Venice, the factions supporting the members had started to burn their money on securing more resources for their candidates. Ai Jiang Tu and the team also learns of Nanrong Ni's true self. His supporter representative from the Northern Army Military Command arrived for Venice matches.

First Round Opening Match - Vs. Japan: Ai Jiang Tu fights Captain Shou Watani (High-Tier Earth, High-Tier Light, Mid-Tier Space)

The opening match ended perfectly. During the following half a month, there would be more exciting matches between the national teams, and by then, the names of extraordinary talents would spread to the public, too. However, with such an impressive start to the tournament, the team was starting to have a higher hope of achieving a better ranking. Ai Jiang Tu (excluding Mo Fan) and team later faced against 2 more weaker national teams before the match against Spain.Ai Jiang Tu watched the fight with Spain in the Team's resting area. After defeating Spain, even if the Chinese team lost all the upcoming matches, they would still be placed in the top 16 of the knockout round.. After the first knockout round, the second round is a treasure hunt, and the treasure will be resources from the enormous pool. It’s all up to the participants to see how many resources they can secure for the team.

Second Round - Treasure Hunt (24 hours): The Chinese team had won all their matches during the knockout round, thus they were qualified to proceed to the next round, the treasure hunt. Sixteen countries were disqualified in the first round, so only the sixteen countries (160 students) that were left would participate in the treasure hunt. The team that Ai Jiang Tu was leading had been outstanding too, but the spectators were already feeling bored watching the teams sticking to conventions.

The round after the treasure hunt would be the finals. The format was fairly simple: the teams would be competing against one another, and the last team standing would be the winner. The top three teams would be given tremendous prizes. The resources available in the second round’s treasure hunt were basically unlimited, but they would have to compete with the other participants. The Chinese team was ranked third in the treasure hunt, just behind England and Germany.

The format of the duels was different than the knockout round. Even though it consisted of team battles, the teams were allowed to substitute members in the middle of a match. The participants in a match was still ten, but if a student was knocked out, the team could immediately send another student onto the stage. A team could only substitute members three times, meaning that eight people could represent their team in a match during the finals. It was a test of the entire team’s strength, since eight out of the ten representatives of a national team were expected to fight in a match. There will be five matches for each team.

Last 1st Round Match - Vs. Germany: Ai Jiang Tu lead the team against Germany and fought its Captain "Trickster" Johanson (High-Tier Shadow, High-Tier Light, Mid-Tier Earth). The Chinese team could not afford to keep Ai Jiang Tu on the bench. Without him, the team would be crushed in an instant, and it was unlikely that he could turn the tables by joining the match late. During the match, he was momentarily burned by Reddy's flames. Ai Jiang Tu helped the new sub-member Mo Fan to teleport out (Blink (Teleportation) Lv. 2 x2) of an isolated group attack.[13] He was too late when Jiang Yu was expelled from the field by Johanson's 'lie-rule use' trick. Instead of assisting defense against Reddy's new flame attack, Ai Jiang Tu acted to eliminate Germany's Wind Mage. However, in the end, Mo Fan eliminated the entire German team without his assistance.

After the match with Germany, Ai Jiang Tu and the rest of the team learned of a hero Mo Fan's fighting against the Black Vatican and his efforts in the Ancient Captial Xi'an Undead Catastrophe. Ai Jiang Tu was overwhelmed by fatigue alongside Mo Fan. He had stayed in the match for the longest on their team, since he was in it right from the very start. He was the mainstay of the team. Without him, the team would have collapsed early on. After the intense match against the German team, Captain Ai Jiang Tu was unable to fight the next match. The first round ended with the match between China and Germany.

Four countries were placed in the winner bracket: Greece, England, China, and Egypt. The loser’s bracket consisted of the USA, Canada, Germany, and France. The schedule of the matches for the winner bracket was yet to be decided. It would only be revealed during the day of the matches. The participants had two days to rest up. On the third day, the second round of the finals finally began.

Last 2nd Round Match - Vs. England: Among the countries in the winners bracket, both Greece and England were super powerhouses. The China national team basically had no chance of winning against either of them so it forfeit the match by not winning, but probed England's team with lower teammates. Ai Jiang Tu also rested and watched. In the second round, the USA managed to win the match in the loser bracket without any surprise, and joined the group with one win. The German team that was still in bad shape ended up losing to France in the losers bracket, allowing France to join the group with one win too. As a result, there were four teams in the group with one win. Greece and China won their first match but lost their second, and America and France that won in the loser bracket. Two days later, the third round of the finals took place.

Last 3rd Round Match - Vs. France: USA ended up going against Greece once again in the third round and lost. France was actually quite strong. The Chinese team was expected to pay some price in order to secure the win, but the members of the French team had been severely injured in the match against Germany. The French team quickly collapsed in the match against the well-rested Chinese team. The French team had desperately focused their attacks on Mo Fan during the match, allowing Mu Ning Xue to stack her Ice Domain as she pleased. After the first three rounds, USA, Germany, France, and Canada no longer had a chance of being placed in the top three. Egypt became the only team with three wins. The rules had changed in the fourth round held 2 days later. Since China, England, and Greece had the same number of wins, the fourth round was no longer a battle between two teams, but a mixed battle between three teams to decide who fights Egypt.

Last Round Semi-Final 4th Round Match Battle Royale - Vs. England Vs. Greece: Ai Jiang Tu played with the national team as a support-controller. The starting members consisted of Mo Fan, Ai Jiang Tu, Guan Yu, Mu Ting Ying, and Zhao Man Yan. Both Mo Fan and Ai Jiang Tu were among the starting members, while Mu Ning Xue was assigned as the sixth member, allowing her to provide backup when needed.The team, after being ganged up by 2 countries, first went full offense on Greece and managed to injure their healer while elminating 1 member for the price of Zhao Man Yan and Guan Yu. The first encounter made Ai Jiang Tu and the other 2 members exhausted and injured. As a hooligan method of non-fatality, the China national team grouped to beat up the Greek substitute member as revenge. China and Greece formed a temporary team up to decrease or eliminate England. Ai Jiang Tu and a female Greek member took out Herbert. Ai Jiang Tu had a difficult 7 member team up on the English Captain (High-Tier Wind, High-Tier Summon, Mid-Tier Chaos). Ai Jiang Tu then solo fought him until being interrupted by the former Greek Captain (Shadow, Light). Eventually, both English and Greek men eliminated Ai Jiang Tu from the stage. He and the truly worried teammates later visited Mu Ning Xue in the hospital. The Final Match occurred a few days later. The fireworks were still going on, meaning that the Chinese team was still being congratulated for their victory. It was a grand ceremony that every Mage would want to be at. It has been two years since the Ancient Captail Xi'an Undead Catastrophe.

Last Round Final Match - Vs. Egypt: Venice purposely arranged the important match to be held on an island surrounded by the sea. The exhausted Ai Jiang Tu did not participate, but learned of the outcome. The starting members in the match against Egypt were Mo Fan, Jiang Yu, Mu Nu Jiao, Guan Yu, and Zhao Man Yan. The Chinese team had fought the mixed battle not long ago and most of their members were seriously injured in it: Nanyu, Ai Jiang Tu, Mu Ning Xue, Mu Ting Ying, and the others had not fully recovered yet, and were most likely not going to participate in the match. From this match, Ai Jiang Tu learned of the value of lower Tier spells with higher levels in war: lower mana cost with faster casting.

Blessing[]

For the next few days after winning first place, the team members was finally released from their burdens. Venice was a charming city in Italy, meaning that the team could enjoy themselves for a few days after the tournament came to an end. Since the team mainly consisted of young adults, they had no limit on when they were allowed to do whatever they pleased. Even Mo Fan was drunk for almost a full day. On the same evening, Ai Jiang Tu learns of the sudden 'island' appearing again and Zhan Man Yan's disappearance by the giant 'island' creature's swallowing.

Ai Jiang Tu, as part of the first place team, went to Greece. The Golden-Sun Knight arranged the team a place to stay in the Hall of Knights at the Parthenon, and told them they were not allowed to go anywhere on their own. The Blessing of the God's Seal was received 4 days later so Ai Jiang Tu stayed for 1 month to consolidate his Blessing imprint onto his chosen Element and then entered another month of secluded cultivation to improve his 3 Elements.

Years in China[]

After the World College Tournament, Ai Jiang Tu left and continued his future. Ai Jiang Tu graduated early from the military academy and continued his work as a High-Tier soldier mage. He gained graduation rewards (unique cultivation resource/magic equipment). He also was aware of the strinking land area being eroded by the rising sea levels during the first year after the Tournament. He even took the habit to monitor Fanxue Mountain public news. He knows Fanxue Mountain is a private land in Zhejiang Province while north of Fei Niao City (飞鸟市) and not far away from Shanghai Base Magic City. Fanxue Mountain had mountains in the west and the ocean in the east. Hangzhou Headquarters City was located to the north of Fanxue Mountain. Over a year after the World College Tournament, Ai Jiang Tu learns about Ai Tu Tu's choice to become a magic teacher in Shanghai at Dean Xiao's request.

The graduated soldier Ai was also invited from the North to take a part-time job as a guest magic teacher in the Imperial College to teach the new younger generation and scout talented soldiers for the Army. He later became a Super-Tier Mage (Super-Tier Space[14]) sometime after Zhao Man Yan did alongside some former national team members and decided to improve his other Elements to Super-Tier too for a solid mage foundation. He has also stayed in phone contact with Mo Fan. Through his acquaintances, Ai JIang Tu has learned many news (see below!) about Mo Fan's adventures.

Reunion in Tian Shan[]

On temporary leave for experience, the soldier and guest magic teacher Ai Jiang Tu's 4 member group (himself, Super-Tier Jiang Yu, High-Tier Nanyu, High-Tier Guan Yu) went to Tian Shan in late Autumn to challenge the dangerous land. After coincidentally meeting Mo Fan's group, the 8 former national team members+Ling Ling & Apas decided to join soldier Ai Jiang Tu's selected mercenary group (Tian Shan Sacred Lotus) and experience Tian Shan together. He even learns of Mo Fan's group's goal in Tian Shan: Tian Shan's White Tiger Beast Totem and the Dark King's Black Quartz, therefore, Ai Jiang Tu and co. temporarily joined the Totem Exploration Team.

To talk about the offensive and destructive nature of magic, Single System Super-Tier Ai Jiang Tu knows that he is far inferior to the current Mo Fan and Mu Ning Xue, therefore, became the team's control hub to ensure rearguard support and prevent ambushes. He mostly supported the non-destructive teammates such as Jiang Shao Xu and Jiang Yu. This adventure exhibited Ai Jiang Tu's versatile abilities in the Space Element.

In the early area level of Tian Shan, Ai Jiang Tu and the group collected various Tian Shan exclusive flora and fauna for money. Upon entering the colder mountain area, the team enountered Tian Shan Devil Tiger territory and Guan Yu+ Fei Fei become the new scouts. At the glacier area near Tianchi Lake, Ai Jiang Tu and the group met other Hunter/mercenary teams. He collected various Tian Shan ice treasures for money and experienced becoming pretend frozen food, afterwards on the mountain gradual frostbite symptoms (cold poison). He also witnessed Mo Fan picking a fight with a top breed Tian Shan Devil Tiger (Little Baihu 'kidnap' play). Ai Jiang Tu becomes surprised by Mo Fan's powerful Super-Tier Level 1 Shadow Element and lack of Fire during a party ice beast horde ambush. He comments how Little Baihu personality fits Mo Fan's.

After leaving Tian Shan and resting at the nearby hotel, Ai Jiang Tu and the entire team were surprised by Little Baihu being a true beast Totem. He also experienced Forbidden Curse Mage Shao Zheng's memory monster lecture and fell asleep.

Super-Tier Mo Fan Versus Zu Xiang Tian[]

Over 2 years and a half after World College Tournament, Ai Jiang Tu, Ai Tu Tu, Mu Nu Jiao, Guan Yu and Jiang Yu prepared to arrive early for Mo Fan's broadcasted fight. Ai Jiang Tu commented on the Zu Family's unique Curse Element soul magic equipment - Curse Borrowing Body Art (诅咒借体术). He was also surprised, alongside other former national team members. by Mo Fan's powerful Earth Element defense spell that could ward off several Super-Tier attack spells. He even witnessed Tu Tu dismissing Zu Xiang Tian as ugly in public and Mo Fan's scary Earth-Demon Blood giant ability. After the fight, Ai Jiang Tu and the others explore the new Naval Battle City and Fanxue Mountain.

By the time Mo Fan kills the Monarch-class monster Female Wolf King near Bo City, Ai Jiang Tu has already attained Two Systems Super-Tier mage qualifications alongside other former teammates.

During the missing year of Mo Fan in the Dark Plane, Ai Jiang Tu learned Ai Tu Tu move out of Mo Fan's Shanghai apartment with Mu Nu Jiao.

Military Army's Combat History[]

As a soldier in the army, Ai Jiang Tu (indirectly mentioned) was involved in many public military operations before and after the Tian Shan Experience trip. Midsummer is tropical storm season, the Sea-Monster season.

  • During the half year after Mo Fan deterred the Egyptian Undead invasion, Ai Jiang Tu participated in anti-sea monster combat to prepare for the sea level rising. He also participated in raid campaigns against inland monster hords. He also participated in unknown secret missions as a secret Space Mage.
  • After returning for Tian Shan, Ai Jiang Tu returned to the military and participated for over one month in many military campaigns against the invading sea monsters along the 20,000+ kilometers of coastal area from the north Dalian to the south Hainan Island of China. He also consolidated his cultivation and broke through to Super-Tier Curse Element before Mo Fan's broadcasted fight with Zu Xiang Tian.
  • During the missing year of Mo Fan in the Dark Plane, Ai Jiang Tu accompanied on many more military campaigns against the invading sea monsters along the Chinese coasts and water areas near the 5 major Base Cities. A unique cold frost has hit 70% crop areas even during the mass population move inland in the Summer causing many cities to be abandoned half a year before Mo Fan's return to China.

Mo Fan's National and International News[]

Through his contacts with his former teammates, Ai Jiang Tu learns of Mo Fan's various secret or public adventures across the world (mainly through Zhao Man Yan, Beast Totem Finder Jiang Shao Xu and his younger sister Ai Tu Tu). Two notable news is one: Ai Jiang Tu learned of the true heartless mastermind of the infant massacre in Japan and Internationally, and two: Mo Fan and co. fighting against the Black Vatican. By the time of the Qingming Festival about 2 years after the World College Tournament, livestream and recording Mages' magic have become possible.

Due to living in the military Ai Family, Ai Jiang Tu has the solid foundation and experience of a skilled soldier, however, he lacks skills in transportation piloting/driving. Ai Jiang Tu has a calm and cool demeanor when teleporting around. Soldier Ai Jiang Tu was extremely popular with the authorities. After all, he was the rising star from the military. He was so powerful that he could easily crush anyone of the same age. He was like an instructor that had blended in with the students.

A Novice-Tier mage's physique is at the level of an athlete, a Mid-Tier's is at explosive top athlete, and a High-Tier's has resistance, combat effectiveness, and vitality approaching the brute power of a Servant-class monster.

Spiritual Attainment (精神修为)[]

The boundary level of Ai Jiang Tu's spiritual attainment affects the strength and growth of his Curse and Space Elements, equivalent to Elemental Spirit Seeds. His limit as a human mage is the 9th boundary level.

  • Lv. 5 (≡Soul grade Seed):[16] Before the World College Tournament, Ai Jiang Tu already attained the intermediate stage through the training complementation of High-Tier Curse and Space elements. His Telekinesis can act with what Ai Jiang Tu thinks. High-Tier: Blink (Teleportation) Lv. 3 can send one or more persons, even someone other than the caster, up to 300 meters. He can transfer a moving car at most 50 meters.
    • At the 1st boundary level, Ai Jiang Tu's Novice-Tier: Telekinesis - Void Claw's strength permanently increased.
    • At the 2nd boundary level, Ai Jiang Tu can move objects weighing up to 10 tons, create barriers just by a thought and cast an omni-directional dispersion field and compress a normal suit of magic armor into the size of a sugar cube.
    • At the 4th boundary level, Ai Jiang Tu can instant cast Blink (Teleporation) Lv. 3 upon himself to jump to 100 meters, able to use Telekinesis - Void Claw on multiple objects at once, Mid-Tier: Space Rhythm - Delay can stop non-reinforced ranged High-Tier magic. He can create an entire private space barrier with a thought. He can combine his Space Element with other Space Mages in perfect synchronicity if they have the same goal such Relay Blink. When first using Blink (Teleporation) Lv. 1 at this boundary level, the limit is 50~100 meters. He can create a personal pocket-storage dimension that can hold as much supplies as a truck. Ai Jiang Tu was at this boundary level when he first met Mo Fan.
  • Lv. 6 (≡Greater Soul grade Seed):[17] Due to becoming a novice Super-Tier Mage, Ai Jiang Tu had to raise his spiritual attainment to the sixth boundary to breakthrough. At the 6th boundary level, it increased his Blink (Teleportation) range to 400 kilometers. A standard Telekinesis - Void Claw can, with High-Tier energy, kill a Lesser Commander-class monster with one blow (an attack comparable to standard High-Tier Lv. 2 spell with Soul grade Seed). Novice-Tier: Telekinesis - Qi Wall up to 200 meters long can be created and Qi Walls can restrain Great Commander-class monsters (if at High-Tier cultivation). Thought weapons, such as Telekinesis silver swords, created by Willpower can give significant injuries to Great Commander-class monsters. Precise dismantling and dissection with a silver Will Knife are possible on monster corpses. Ai Jiang Tu can also easily use Space Rhythm to create high frequency vibrations to act as a confined AOE field surface method. At Super-Tier Space Level 2, he can singularly teleport up 700 to 800 meters with maximum 2 kilometers through vast Space mana.
  • Lv. 7 (≡Lesser Heaven grade Seed): Due to becoming a Three Systems Super-Tier Mage, Ai Jiang Tu's increasing cultivation natural raises his spiritual attainment to at least the seventh boundary, unless his spiritual attainment training and experiences help him reach the eighth boundary to become a Super-Tier level 3 Space Element Mage.

Where Level 5 boundary Novice-Tier Space spells can be just as powerful if not more powerful than other Mid-Tier magic, Level 9 boundary Novice-Tier Space spells can be just as strong as other High-Tier Level 6 magic spells.

Elements[]

These are the elements Ai Jiang Tu has awakened:

He is an offensive control-type mage specializing in Space. Ai Jiang Tu was able to attack, defend, control, and destroy with his Space Element. The ability to Blink (Teleportation) around unpredictably alone was astounding. He could easily take on a few opponents with only a single Element. At High-Tier, magic no longer had its form restricted by Star Maps or Star Paths so Ai Jiang Tu could modify the shape and form of his magic at will, but he still needed to master it with lots of practice. After the founding of Fanxue Mountain City, Ai Jiang Tu's supported resources allowed him to reach High-Tier Level 3 Space Element, later followed by his Curse Element. By the Tian Shan Exploration, Ai Jiang Tu attained Super-Tier in only the Space Element while his other Elements were High-Tier wiht one unknown Mid-Tier Element. At Super-Tier, Ai Jiang Tu began contructing his own magic spells that the cultivation rank provides. Based on fellow, but lesser, genius Japan Team's Captain Shou Watani's cultivation rank of 3 Super-Tier Elements after 5 years (next World College Tournament), Ai Jiang Tu had also cultivated at least 3 Super-Tier Elements and had his fourth Element reach High-Tier. At Super-Tier, although the spells are more ever-changing, the source of mana is still relying on the Star Palace to provide huge energy.

Curse Element[]

The Curse Element is solely dependant on Ai Jiang Tu's Spiritual Attainment to becoming effective and to advance to higher levels. The Curse Element possesses too many restrictions in human society, therefore, Ai Jiang Tu uses it as a control and trump attack ability against humans. However, against magical beasts, he has no need to restrict himself. By the time the World College Tournament began, Ai Jiang Tu already reached High-Tier Lv. 1 Curse Element for some time and adeptly use Demon Punishment. As a Super-Tier Curse Mage, he also wishes to study the Zu Family's core unique Super-Tier Curse Borrowing Body Art (诅咒借体术) of refining bound-beast soul equipment into temporary human-beast soul bound empowerment as a Cursed Sacrifice Body (诅咒祭体) by cursing and sacrificed powerful monster souls onto the equipment then cursing oneself with the cursed equipment, using Jiang Yu's connections. Due to his Curse Element, Ai Jiang Tu has a cultivated understanding of the soul and its relationship to the body. Any Soul Essence earned by using the Curse Element is usually damaged.

Space Element[]

The Space Element is partially dependant on Ai Jiang Tu's Spiritual Attainment to advance to higher levels. Due to the international rules on the Curse Element, Ai Jiang Tu prefers to use his versatile Space Element as his main and most proficient element. By the time the World College Tournament began, Ai Jiang Tu already reached High-Tier Space Element for some time and mastered Blink (Teleporation) Lv. 1. During the Tournament, he could continously cast it[13]. With his training experience in the Tournament, he reached High-Tier Lv. 2 in cultivation and could also teleport other people and beasts[8][13] faster in his Domain[18]. He is deeply skilled in the Space Element that he help establish the Dimensional Magic foundation for the next Magic God Mo Fan. As a Super-Tier Mage Lv. 1, Ai Jiang Tu can group teleport 300-400 meters away, but yet unable to adeptly cast the Super-Tier Lv. 1 spell Space Node. Due to South America having a higher percentage of Space Mage awakening, Ai Jiang Tu's majority Space Element cultivation resources come from there.

Lightning Element[]

The Lightning Element was confirmed as Ai Jiang Tu's third awakened element through indirect context clues and process of elimination in Chapters: 722 (Light Element), 1046 and 1104 based on team member Jiang Yu's (Light, Summon, Chaos) and Mu Tingying's (Ice, Fire, ?) elements. It was not used at all in the Plot due to Mo Fan being nearby, while Ai Jiang Tu's Lightning Element was less destructive and weaker than the versatile Space in Ai Jiang Tu's repetoire. Dimensional Magic, Lightning and Fire Elements were also the most expensive Elements to maintain with money. It is also assumed with his national background support, Ai Jiang Tu has attained a Spirit grade Seed and a Soul grade Seed with a Domain for his High-Tier Lightning Element. By the time of the next World College Tournament, the Lightning Element had already become Super-Tier (Andes Federation Civil War). Ai Jiang Tu's Lightning Element usage is highly inspired by Mo Fan's versatile destructiveness.

  • Chapter 1023: Ai Jiangtu immediately tried to "attack" the walls of the prism, but it felt like the walls were able to absorb the energy of the spells aimed at it.
  • Chapter 1046: "In the end, the candidates for the first bout were Mu NingXue, Jiang Yu, Jiang Shao Xu, Ai Jiang Tu, and Guan Yu. Just looking at the main Elements the five candidates had, none of them had the best offensive Fire Element. Second, the Lightning Element was just like Jiang Yu's secondary Element, therefore, it was a Lightning Element at the output of a little battery compared to Mo Fan’s. It was unlikely that it could come in handy."
  • Chapter 1104: "The only other members with offensive Elements were Ai Jiang Tu and Mu Ting Ying, yet the destructive Lightning and Fire Elements were not really their strengths."
  • Spirit grade Seed: A Spirit grade Seed was at least two or three times stronger than a Mortal grade Seed. A spell's power is multiplied by 2 or 2.5 and Spirit grade Lightning Seeds all possessed intellects. They had the temperament and personality of a living creature, so they also received their own name. It was rare for a Spirit grade Seed to have different attributes. Usual Spirit grade Seeds increase spells, but the rare ones can improve the Element's manipulation or control like a pseudo-Domain. A Spirit grade Lightning Seed was something worth more than 10 million RMB with high quality at around 30 million RMB.
    • With twenty thousand kilometers of coastline being invaded, the price of every Spirit grade Seed and Soul grade Seed has risen significantly. Every city, faction, and renowned clan is crazily recruiting capable Mages to fend off the sea monsters. The market is short on resources. Normal Spirit grade Seeds averaged around 14~18 million RMB in price.
  • Soul grade Seed: A Soul grade Seed was anywhere from four to six times stronger than a Mortal grade Seed. Natural Soul grade Seeds are too rare, so many Soul grade Seeds are refined artificially. Although their power isn’t comparable to the natural Soul grade Seeds, and they won’t necessarily provide the bearers with a Domain, they can still multiply the damage of spells by 4-6 times. A Soul grade Seed can be refined with a huge number of Spirit grade Seeds, as long as there’s enough supply of the fusing material Essence Crystals. A high-quality Lightning Element Essence Crystal is the important factor that decides if an artificially refined Soul grade Seed has the power of Domain due to the quality of the Essence Crystals. A Soul grade Seed around 200-300 million RMB was at least twice as strong as a Spirit grade Seed, and different Soul grade Seeds would also enhance the Mage’s spell with different special effects. Artificial Soul grade Seeds start at 300 million RMB and the price ranges from 300~500 million RMB depending on their Elements and their special effects. Natural Soul grade Seeds, the ones with Domains, normally start at 600 million RMB, but most of them are auctioned at around 800 million RMB. Different Soul grade Seeds had different levels of strength. A Domainless Soul grade Seed with a multiplier of six would most likely cost around 800 million RMB. An ordinary Soul grade Seed Lightning Seed costs 850 million RMB. The spells of the same Element as the artificial Soul grade Seed will multiply the power of spells by 2 to 3 times and their special effects aren’t necessarily that much weaker than Natural ones. Natual Soul grade Seeds multiply spells 3 to 4 times. A Soul grade Lightning Seed would multiply the strength of his Lightning Spells by two to three times. A Soul grade Lightning Seed is normally a lot more expensive than other Elements. A Spirit grade Seed has a certain level of intelligence, and a Soul grade Seed has its own consciousness. They are like Summoned Beasts, something that Mages have to communicate with in order for them to reach a deal. If the Soul grade Seed does not acknowledge you, you will never be able to obtain its power. Once a Soul grade Seed replaces a Spirit grade Seed, you’ll directly lose some attributes and even some additional effect of the Spirit grade Seed. Since the additional effects of either Spirit grade or Soul grade Seeds are very useful, it’s quite a great loss when upgrading between the Seeds.

Unknown Element[]

Ai Jiang Tu's fourth awakened Element is unknown, however, based on his experiences and fights during the Tian Shan adventure, some Elements can be ignored. Of all the Elements, the cheapest for a soldier are the Elemental Magics. With Ai Jiang Tu's pride as a Super-Tier mage, he would have improved his fourth Element to High-Tier Level 1 by the time he visited Tian Shan.

Domain (领域)[]

  • [18][8]As a peak High-Tier mage, Ai Jiang Tu could form his own Domain. However, it is a natural spiritual attainment Domain to his Space Element. He could also establish a Space Cube Domain to increase his Blink (Teleporation) movement.[19] A Domain was able to condense its Element, only then will a Mage be able to show his control of the Element. A Domain referred to a Mage’s ability to accumulate the Element particles within a certain range and gather them within a specific radius, with themselves at the center. If the mind of the Mage was strong enough and the Element particles accumulated by him reached a certain level, the area was called the Mage System Domain. The Domain would improve the strength, form, recovery, control, and channeling of the Mage’s Element, granting him a higher level of mastery of the specific Element. In addition to that, the Domain could also suppress the strength of an opponent. After all, if a certain area had a strong presence of a certain Element, it meant the presence of other Elements would be weakened. With a Domain, a Mage was able to gather the energy of the Element toward themselves, forming a zone that would allow a Mage to cast spells and alter the form of their magic easily.

Super-Tier Extraordinary Power (超阶非凡力) - Transcendental Power (超然力)[]

  • Ai Jiang Tu's awakened Extraordinary Power at Super-Tier is unknown, but at least 1 Transcendental Power form in the Space Element exists.

Blessing of the God's Seal (神印礼赞)[]

  • [20]The Blessing of the God’s Seal was able to permanently increase the base potency of a Mage’s Element. It would stack with the amplification provided by magic equipment or Elemental Seeds. An imprint was attached to Ai Jiang Tu's most desired element to strengthen with the base effect strengthening at a certain number between 1.2~2.5 depending on his 1 month long comprehension after receiving the Seal. Based on his talents, Ai Jiang Tu would have at least attained a value of 1.5+. He either applied the Blessing to the Lightning/Curse Element to increase its damage property or to the Space Element to increase its influence range. It is indirectly implied by Super-Tier Space Mage Ai Jiang Tu to have selected his Space Element to have the Blessing due to his mage path and to his usually party teleportation range being 300-400 kilometers away.

Equipment[]

Due to his versatile Space Element, volatile Curse Equipment and soldier upbringing, Ai Jiang Tu possesses a low amount of magic equipment with most owned focus on individual's defense. However, by the time he visited Tian Shan in Chapter 2017, Ai Jiang Tu had already obtained a full set. Equipment listed without Novel/Manhua Chapters are based on the standard national genius mage of Ai Jiang Tu's generation (based off Mo Fan, Zhang Xiao Hou, Mu NingXue and Zhao Man Yan). He also possessed various international currency. it is unknown if Ai Jiang Tu possesses Spirit grade or higher Magic Tools/Equipments.

When a Mage used their intent to enter the blood-bound magic equipment, it would automatically interlink with the spirit and leave behind a magic equipment imprint within the Mage’s spirit world. After the imprint was formed, the magic equipment would immediately assimilate into the Magician’s body. When the Mage used their intent to circulate the imprint, the magical equipment would immediately appear in front of the user. Magic Equipment was only able to link itself to the soul. Once activated, it could transform into a special piece of battle equipment. Most magic equipment was forged from different materials, and it was very difficult to collect a set of magic equipment made of the same material. However, when Boots, Shields, Armor, Magic Attack Equipment, and Wings combined into a set, the pieces of magic equipment were able to link up like Star Orbits and Star Patterns to construct a magic formation, greating the wearer new abilities. Only Magic Equipment had to be bound to a Mage’s soul. Magic tools were similar to accessories so anyone could wear and remove them at any time. High-level Magic Equipment was normally referred to as a Soul grade Magic Equipment. These pieces of magic equipment would have their own tempers, innate characters, power, and integrity, just like a living being. Not all Magic Equipment consumed energy when they were active, but if they suffered some serious damage, they would need a large amount of magic ores to restore their energy depending on their Tier.

Meanwhile, the ? Element Magic Tool specifically targets the ? Element. It can stack together with the effects of the Star Cloud, Star River or Star Ocean Tool. On its own, the benefit it provides is fairly ordinary, but if supported by an outstanding Star Cloud, Star River or Star Ocean Tool, it would significantly improve the cultivation of a particular Element.

Badges (Military, Academy) Magic Tool (572) Every academic institute had their own badges, and the color of the badges usually reflected the Element School the students were in. On top of that, the marks on the badges indicated their levels. Similarly to the badges, the Magic Association, Hunter Union, and the Military also had badges to indicate their people’s identities and levels. It was essential for Magicians to team up, be it for completing quests or missions. Most people would wear the badges on their chests so people could easily see them.
Star River's Vein Magic Crystal (839) 星河之脉 - The Star River's Vein is supplied by Ai Jiang Tu's support faction to help his Elements become High-Tier each. It was the size of a goose egg in the shape of a diamond, but more crystalline than one. Its surface was densely covered in dots of light. On a closer look, it was as shiny and elegant as a galaxy. It was the thing that every Mage needed when they reached the peak Mid-Tier bottleneck due to the barrier around their Star Cloud. It was an important resource to help Mage expand their Star Cloud into a Star River! The difference between a Star Cloud and Star River was incredibly huge. It was extremely difficult for a Mage to break through the Element's High-Tier barrier by themselves. However, the abundant supply of energy from a Star River's Vein could produce a strong pulse of energy, helping them break through the barrier! Most Veins were sold for 100 million RMB, and some even had a price of 120 million RMB.
Star Ocean Heaven Vein Magic Crystal (2369) 星海天脉 - It is a crystal similar to the Star River's Vein. The Star Ocean Heaven Vein is earned by Ai Jiang Tu from his support faction to help one Element become Super-Tier. Its quality determines the higher probability of breakthrough to Super-Tier: half-finished product = 10%, with standard = 30~60%. A Mage can only use 1 Star Ocean Heaven Vein in life because once used, the next one is decrease in effect by 10 times.
Star Ocean Magic Tool Magic Tool (2214) 修魂器 A cultivation process support tool to hasten and improve the cultivation progress for Super-Tier mages. It is created from a Monarch-Tier soul essence. Grade unknown. Element specification unknown.
Ring of Venice Magic Ring 1118 It would activate automatically. The rings were able to analyze the danger its bearer was in. If the person wearing the ring was not protected and the damage of the spells targeting the person was too high, the ring would assume the bearer was in danger and unleash a Water Barrier to protect the bearer, however, because the ring is a low quality, it could only withstand High-Tier spells (Mu Ning Xue's old high quality Ring was the exception). Space Bracelet Magic Tool (1511, 2496) 空间手环 - An extradimensional storage magic tool with a limited space that can store discarded bio-products and other items, but no living items. Vital for any solo-adventure or genius High-Tier+ mage.
Defensive Equipment It was a special type of equipment that was able to directly morph into a Shield (盾牌)or Armor (铠甲). At a crucial time, it could block the attack of a monster, and thus was also a form of lifeguarding equipment. Mantle-type or Wing Magical Equipment were considered luxury goods among Mages.

It can withstand 1 Commander-class attack before shattering. Later replaced with High-Tier after Japan challenge. An average price for a Magic Shield should by 500,000+ RMB.

A magic shield needs the mage to activate the shield so that it can help the mage to fend off an attack and usually higher defense than the Magic Armor.

? Magic Armor 1109 High-Tier Magic Equipment. The magic armor is strong to the point where the mage can just wear it and it does not require the attention of the mage to activate it for its defense. It may not be able to fend off attacks completely like the magic shields, but indirectly, it can greatly increase the wearer's durability.

  • Grandfather Ai: He was mentioned by Ai Tu Tu in her first appearance, indicating he is strict with his grandchildren's moral upbringing. As a member of the Ai family, he is also a Super-Tier mage.

The factions supporting him will spend more money as the training in the Tournament goes on, expending Star River's Veins (Mid to High-Tier advancement) on him as if they are completely free. A full set of top-tier magic equipment and tools, or the best Soul Seeds available on the market is possible too. After the World College Tournament, Ai Jiang Tu returns to the Northern Army as a internationally famed young soldier.

  • Mu Nu Jiao: A friend through her friendship with Ai Tu Tu. She acts as Tu Tu's mother and sister whom she shares her secrets. Both women were born in rich and powerful families. Nu Jiao also refers to Ai Jiang Tu when updating him about Ai Tu Tu's present circumstances.
  • Nanyu: Fellow soldier comrade of Ai Jiang Tu, and Nanyu calls him Old Ai. Ai Jiang Tu was more familiar with Nanyu than anyone else, knowing her hobbies in magic formations, curses and seals.
  • Mo Fan: He also calls him Old Ai and trust each other with their lives, even if facing the Mu Clan, Ai Jiang Tu would not hesitate fighting side by side with Mo Fan. Ai Jiang Tu became Mo Fan's senior and Space Element advisor towards the novice Space mage during the World College Tournament experience, after discovering his junior's Space Element in Peru, then instructing and allowing Mo Fan to develop a solid and versatile Mid-Tier (High-Tier knowledge) rank foundation in his High-Tier awakened element. He also inspired Mo Fan the coolness, destructiveness and versatile potential of the Space Element. Later, Mo Fan used Ai Jiang Tu's teachings to educate Fiery Hatera the basics of the Space Element. After visitng Peru, Ai Jiang Tu became friends with Mo Fan. Upon learning Mo Fan's major participation and heroic efforts against the Black Vatican in the Ancient Capital Xi'an Undead Catastrophe, Ai Jiang Tu's respect towards his junior grew to greater heights. Mo Fan is also one of the known males Ai Jiang Tu allows around Ai Tu Tu. The disciplined Ai Jiang Tu knows about Mo Fan's violent personality and usually, only, verbally warns him to not pick a fight while acknowledging it being necessary in secret. He also had little to no appearance of his Lightning Element when Mo Fan was with the team. Due to Mo Fan's influence, Ai Jiang Tu developed a hidden bandit heart for treasures. The pair are also similar in their desire for adventures and challenges (with Ai Jiang Tu being more restrained as a soldier).
